---------TvU can provide a gold coating on any material that is compatible with vacuum evaporation. Parts are baked and coated with a binder for superior gold adhesion.
Opaque Gold Coating
---------Optically thick gold coatings can be applied to arbitrary parts to form a mirror surface that is especially good in the infrared part of the spectrum.
Gold Coated Windows
---------Semi-transparent gold coatings allow visual viewing through the window while simultaneously reflecting heat; for use in furnace/high temperature viewing. Thicker coatings are used for higher temperatures.
Gold Coated Tubes
---------Internally coated, semi-transparent gold coated tubes are used for fabricating transparent furnaces. Gold coatings on the insides of tubes require TvU's special equipment.
