2-Zone 1600oC Furnace

Thoughtventions Unlimited, LLC has built and is offering a Two Zone 1600oC vacuum/gas furnace.  This vertical cylindrical furnace operates with two zones that are independently heated with end loading access.  Stable, programmable, temperature control of each zone uses Type B thermocouples, a PID controller and a feedback controlled SCR power supply.   Other furnace sizes are available.

This furnace was built and tested at TvU for silicon refining.  Ancillary apparatus included a rough vacuum system, a gas supply, and a crucible

traversing mechanism.
